Honda Service Plans

Nobody knows your car like our Honda-trained technicians do, which is why we’re able to give you the Honda Service Promise – which includes a 12-month guarantee on all work among lots of added extras. We offer two different types of service plan, which are based on the age of your car when you set up your plan – under eight months old or over eight months old.

Honda service plan information

For Cars less than 8 months old with less than 8,000 miles on the clock. A one-off, inflation-proof payment will see your Honda through its servicing requirements for 5 years or up to 62,500 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of registration.
If your car is more than 8 months old or has more than 8,000 miles on the clock, then the Tailored Service Plan is for you.
You can make a one-off payment in advance or split the cost over a few months, it’s entirely up to you. Once we’ve finished building your service package, you’ll have a Tailored Service Plan that’s right for you – and at a cost that suits you too. A Service Plan allows customers to spread the cost of their servicing over a number of years, by paying a monthly direct debit. You can also pre-pay for your MG Service Plan in full, should you wish to do so.

Servicing Schedules

Bath MG is authorised to carry out service and maintenance work in conjunction with the terms of your vehicle's warranty. MG Dealers now also register your service on our Digital Service Record platform, meaning that should you need to request a print off of your service history, they will be able to access your service history for your vehicle, through our national database - regardless if you have been to them before or not (proof of ownership may be required).

MG Dealers should only ever fit Genuine MG Parts, which have been designed and tested to our exacting standards.
MG Dealers will be happy to arrange a courtesy cars to ensure your experience is as convenient as possible. (These may have to be pre-booked and may be charged additionally).
All MG Dealers should register your cars' service onto our national online database - DSR. That way we can see that your car is serviced correctly at the appropriate times and allows us or your dealer to remind you when your next service is due.
When your cars' service is entered onto our Digital Service Record system by your MG Dealer, it enables us to top up your existing MG Assistance with exactly the same great peace of mind cover you enjoyed from Day 1, for another 12 months**. And all the whilst you keep returning to our network of dealers, we'll keep topping up your MG Assistance!**

Our standard service plan covers our standard schedule service regime, set at 15,000 miles/12 months, giving you the option for peace of mind maintenance for up to 5 year/75,000 miles.

However, for any new car registered from January 2021 (or vehicles less than a year old and under 10,000 miles before the first scheduled service), you have an additional option. Our new Low Mileage Service Plan is capped at 10,000 miles per year and is aimed at customers who annually complete less than 10,000 miles. this therefore reduces the need to replace some components, which may not have deteriorated with mileage and can go to their anticipated age tollerance, and therefore makes the plan much more cost effective.
An MG Service Plan covers the replacement cost of all scheduled parts, including the labour cost. Any items which at the time of servicing, your MG Dealer advises for replacement outside of the scheduled service items (e.g. brakes, tyres, wiper blades etc.) will be at an additional cost.
