Role Summary:

As a Contact Centre Adviser you will be making and receiving telephone calls to securing bookings for scheduled car servicing, MOTs and additional repair works in support of our service workshops and Service Advisor teams.You will also make follow up calls for Customer Satisfaction purposes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Answer incoming Service Booking calls and make outgoing Service Booking calls

Make bookings for Service, MOT and deferred repairs that were previously identified

Provide customers with appropriate information, describe services and respond to questions

Identify and overcome objections

Seize opportunities to upsell products and services when they arise

Make appointments and book courtesy cars (where appropriate) using available systems

Update customer information on the database

Follow up on initial contacts

Identify and escalate any customer priority issues to the appropriate department manager

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Person Specification:

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a call centre or have Automotive Service Advisor experience
  • Knowledge of 1Link and Motability would be an advantage
  • Will possess an excellent telephone manner
  • Have strong administrative and IT skills
  • Possess a good technical knowledge relating to car servicing, warranty, repair and parts would also be an advantage
  • Have good negotiation and sales skills
  • Be organised with great attention to detail
  • You will need to be articulate with good listening skills
  • Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent keyboard accuracy skills for Data Entry
  • Be a good team player
