We are looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join the team. Based at our Bristol Honda dealership you will be an essential member of the team and assist in the day to day running of the Marketing Department, ensuring that our marketing activity is delivered effectively and that campaigns are creative and impressive.

Role Summary:

  • Supporting the Group Marketing Manager to deliver effective and engaging marketing campaigns and assist in developing multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Manage the Group contact database and assist with the production of lead generation activities through targeted data segmentation
  • Updating the Group on a daily basis to ensure that our data is accurate
  • Implement regular database ‘health checks’ including dedupes and data cleansing and provide a quarterly overview to the Group Marketing Manager on database status – i.e. number of opt outs, new customers
  • Production and fulfilment of Sales and Aftersales customer notifications including but not limited to: MOT and Service Reminders, Prospect letters, Contact Sheets
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data such as web analytics, email open rates etc.
  • Creating and scheduling social media posts to engage and increase our social media community
  • Assisting with the production of marketing collateral – sourcing quotes, liaising with the external marketing and digital agencies to produce artwork
  • Ordering promotional vehicle graphics and decals for the Group

Required skills and experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience of customer database (CMS) systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as you will be facilitating campaigns, influencing ideas and building relationships
  • Ability to deliver work on time and as promised
  • Proactive with a positive ‘can do’ approach
  • Innovative, energetic, enthusiastic and creative team player
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work on many projects at once
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • A Full Driving Licence
  • One year Marketing Experience (preferred but not essential)
