Sales Manager

We are looking to recruit an Experienced Sales Manager to manage the performance of the Sales department ensuring the new and used vehicle sales targets are achieved whilst complying with all aspects of sales, finance and data protection laws and regulations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To deliver an outstanding customer service and achieve a budgetary performance
• To effectively organise and manage the activity leading to new and used vehicle sales
• To organise and run the daily activity of the Sales Department, coaching, managing and developing the skills of the Sales Team where required
• To develop and pursue commercial activity in-line with the marketing strategy of both the dealership and manufacturer
• To ensure the departments profitability by achieving unit, financial and budgetary targets
• To ensure the accurate reporting of all aspects of the Sales Departments performance to both the dealership and manufacturer
• To control stock turnover

You will need:

• To provide excellent customer service
• To have a working knowledge of an Automotive Retail Sales Department
• Have the ability to efficiently control the whole sales process
• A good team player with a strong customer service focus
• The ability to performance manage the team
• To be computer literate in order to understand and generate daily reports
• To possess a full UK Driving Licence
