Bristol Honda is a member of the HSH Motor Group who are a trusted, family owned, independent Honda franchise dealer group who, for the past 18 years, have delivered a comprehensive and market leading customer experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team who administer the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger function for our Group of Motor Dealers.
You will be part qualified in AAT or CIMA, or willing to train.
Role Summary:
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Using the Power computerised system
- Credit Control
- Reconciling Bank Statements
- Posting cash, cheques and credit cards
- Petty cash control
- Setting up payments onto the banking system
Required skills and experience:
- Excellent computer and keyboard skills
- Previous knowledge of Accounting software would be an advantage but is not essential
- Good numeracy skills
- An understanding of GDPR for data compliance purposes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- A Full Driving Licence
